Mr Burger proves great food can be delivered in all sorts of locations.
Neither rain nor incredibly small laneways were enough to stop the burger-loving Switch team manoeuvre a shipping container converted into a transportable Mr Burger kitchen into a warehouse near Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne.
Switch project manager Hugh James said the project was really satisfying.
“We had to move a large converted shipping container down a narrow laneway just big enough to park a small car and then install it into a building,” Hugh said.
“Our team managed the installation, refurbishment of the space and all the planning and food health requirements, knocking the job over in less than a month. We were really pleased with the result – but more importantly, everybody is really pleased with the burgers.”
