New design and fitout delivers serious improvements for Mr Burger food trucks.
Mr Burger is rapidly gaining a solid fan base across Melbourne, leading to a new order for a serve of fresh new trucks to add to the Mr Burger fleet.
Switch reviewed the design and construction materials of the existing trucks, discussed the pros and cons of the existing design with Mr Burger staff and developed a new fabrication process and design which has greatly expanded the cooking facilities accommodated inside the famous orange vans.
Switch Project Manager Hugh James, who oversaw the design and production of the new mobile burger palaces said the new food trucks would keep both Mr Burger and their fans satisfied.
“These trucks go through many hours of painstaking design and consulting to ensure that they are fully certified with Energy Safe Victoria, VicRoads and Food Health Safety – without compromising the kitchen kit required to produce one of Mr Burgers’ fantastic burgers,” Hugh said.
“It’s exciting to create a great food truck on a relatively small vehicle that can be driven on a regular car licence – showing the benefits of our design and build teams working together closely.”
