Toll Webb Dock and Burnie Wharf Upgrades, Vic - Update #1

SwitchCo were on-site to receive the delivery of the ramp segments for the Webb Dock and Burnie wharves. SwitchCo have been awarded the role of Project Manager and Superintendent to manage the Toll Berthing and Infrastructure Project. Although this is the smaller piece of the ramp with a weight of 40 tons, the largest piece weighs in at 90tons and is 29m wide. This logistical exercise was coordinated with Toll Logistics which employed a specialist flatbed trailor which had over 10 axels. These upgrades are part of Toll’s $141m investment in their terminals at Burnie and Webb Dock to support their new vessels.
