Concrete Playground Awards Prince Alfred Hotel

Prince Alfred Hotel – a recent SwitchCo Build project - has won two awards for the Best New Pub in Concrete Playground’s “Best of 2018 Melbourne” Awards. The pub made the shortlist through “a combination of originality, innovation, creativity, approachability and sustainability”; and then won both the Overall Win and the People’s Choice Award.

With the student favourite returning back to its former glory earlier this year, it’s great to see the venue has now been further recognised. Check out SwitchCo’s head to toe refurbishment, including a brand new beer garden, pub kitchens and most importantly 2 new bars. Boasting 60 taps serving beer from larger known breweries and local favourites, and a wine list to match - Prince Alfred pub is definitely deserving of its royal title.
